I have been going through some difficult times lately, which is probably a surprise to most of you since I have been keeping it to myself.
This whole time I have been desperately wanting to shout it out for the whole world to hear. I’M NOT DOING VERY WELL!
Even with my close friends I haven’t said anything.
I realized what God has been trying to teach me through all of this. (because God teaches us things through our struggles.)
He has been trying to teach me something He has been telling me for a while now…

It’s not all about me.

IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT ME!

Every time I didn’t complain to my friends about what I’m going through, or didn’t bring up MY problems, I realized that instead I got to hear my friends problems, and hear what they’re going through.

It has been a slap in the face for me.

When I stop thinking about myself, that is when I leave room to love others the way God has called me to.
